STORY
It came, fast. No one could prepare for it. One day, everything seemed fine. And the next...
Blooming.
The disease is unknown. World-wide, dimension-wide, and yet no one has any idea of its origins or how to handle it. It starts simple enough, with infected just coughing up flower petals, feeling no pain or anything odd. But then they start to feel sick, pressure inside of them, until one day the flower bursts from their body, vines spread throughout all their veins and the corpse now a sacrifice to the beautiful but deadly plant.
Left and right, people died, cities abandoned. There was no hope for anyone.
Then, they came.
Calling themselves the "AI of Colony:ARKE", the worlds their ship passed was given a choice. Those who they could clear as unaffected would be taken on the ARKE and genetically modified so that they would be immune to the disease. In return, however, they would have to live aboard the ARKE for the rest of their lives, as there was no helping their planet.
And...
They would have to breed.
