With your character journal, post here what animal they've been fused with, and any traits (visible and none) they've taken on.

You choose how slight or severe your character's warping is, as well as what animal they are, but there are a few things everyone will have.

Physical traits. Ears, tails, wings, whatever is fine, and obviously, it depends on your animal. A cat-morph would have ears and a tail, a lizard morph just the tail (possibly with scales), and so on.
Instincts and senses. Again, how far it goes is up to you, but they will always have heightened senses, heightened resistances to illness, and so on.
In addition to that, every character will also experience one of these: Rut, where they feel a desire to breed others; Heat, where they feel a desire to be bred; Both, where they experience both but at different times. Those in Rut will feel extremely horny and find it hard to actually satisfy it, those in Heat will give off pheromones that excite those in Rut while also being hard to satisfy until they're knocked up.
Animal must be "real". By that, basically, just justify it existing as an alien on some alien planet, if it's not an IRL animal. It's a Sci-Fi setting, not fantasy, so magic and stuff is a no no (but if you're like "here is how you biologically have a dragon" then you are A-OK).
There is one exception to this: Chimeras. Your character can have a mixture of animals if you so desire, and it can be named after a legendary creature, though you do need to note what animals. IE, to make a "dragon", you use a lizard and a bat.
Because of the sexual/breeding nature of the comm, all characters possess a functioning womb and the ability to give birth. Whether they got a vagina or it's just attached to their usual passage is up to you. Everyone, by necessity, is also far more flexible/stretchy.
No, they don't have periods. Yes, all women's periods are also stopped. This is the future and fuck Satan's waterfall, seriously.
Yes, anyone who gives birth can nurse. No, they don't grow breasts. There is plenty of formula for those who want to use that, though.
Yes, egg laying species can still lay eggs. Possibly in their partner. Consent is important kiddos.

Silver has been merged with a weasel; specifically, the Japanese weasel. He has rounded ears, a bit bigger in proportion than usual for weasels, and a tail about as long as one of his legs (just slightly shorter). His fur matches his hair, being solid red, and he doesn't change color based on season.

He has Rut, and therefore is susceptible to the scent of those in Heat. While it's extremely rare, he can also go into Heat.

Instinct-wise, Silver has gained some minor aggression when dealing with "his territory"; essentially, if he feels someone is trespassing or overstaying their welcome in his room, he'll become more directly aggressive towards them, though not to a point of starting fights. He's also become very aggressive (though not hostile) in sex, tending to be dominating and forceful if necessary.

He's also become more of a carnivore and prefers meat; he's still an omnivore, but he finds it harder to really desire fruits, vegetables, and so-on.

Gold has been merged with a Squirrel Monkey. He has small, fluffy ears and a long, soft prehensile tail. Rather than the usual coloration, his tail is black ending in a golden tip.

He has both Heat and Rut, with Rut being significantly less frequent.

Instinct-wise, Gold has become even more sociable and becomes lonely far more easily. A significant lack of social interaction will impact his mental health severely. His sex drive has notably risen.

He is swifter, able to run and jump faster and farther. A lot farther. He is still an omnivore fully.
